【摘要】:ThetestmethoddescribedinthisEuropeanStandardshows,bytheuseofacceleratedtesting,discreteexudationofplasticizerfromPVCinsulatedandsheathedcables.ItisforuseincircumstanceswherethemanufacturerdeterminesthattheremaybeaspecificriskthatcannotbeassessedonlybyuseofthecompatibilitytestinEN60811-1-2,8.1.4.Thismethodisintendedasaqualitativetestonthecompletedproductandnotanindividualmaterialtest.NOTE1InformationonthebackgroundtouseofthetestisgivenintheIntroduction.NOTE2Althoughanyexudationismostlikelytobeofplasticizer,othercomponentsmayalsoexudeand,forthepurposesofthisstandard,aretreatedequallyinthistest.NOTE3ThemethodhasbeendevelopedwithspecialreferencetoPVC/PVCcables.Norecommendationisgivenastoitsusewithcablesbasedonotherinsulationandsheathingmaterials.
