【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversaprocedureforthescreeningoftracelevelsofvolatileorganiccompoundsinwatersamplesbyheadspacesolidphasemicroextraction(SPME)incombinationwithfastgaschromatographywithflameionizationdetection.1.2Theresultsfromthisscreeningprocedureareusedtoestimateanalyteconcentrationstopreventcontaminationofpurgeandtraporheadspaceanalyticalsystems.1.3ThecompoundsofinterestmusthaveagreateraffinityfortheSPMEabsorbentpolymeroradsorbentthanthesamplematrixorheadspacephaseinwhichtheyreside.1.4NotalloftheanalyteswhichcanbedeterminedbySPMEareaddressedinthispractice.Theapplicabilityoftheabsorbentpolymer,adsorbentorcombinationtoextractthecompound(s)ofinterestmustbedemonstratedbeforeuse.1.5WhereuseditistheresponsibilityoftheusertovalidatetheapplicationofSPMEtotheanalytesofinterest.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection9.
