【摘要】:ThispartofISO16938specifiesamethodfordeterminingthestainingofporoussubstrates(e.g.marble,limestone,sandstoneorgranite)bysealantsusedinbuildingconstruction.Themethodevaluatesthelikelihoodofasealantcausinganearlystainonaporoussubstrateduetoexudationofmaterialsfromthesealant.Theoutcomeofthetestisspecifictothetestedsealantandtestedsubstrateandcannotbeextrapolatedtoothersealantformulationsorotherporoussubstrates.Duringthisacceleratedtest,ifthesealantdoesnotstainordiscolourthesubstrates,itdoesnotmeanthatthetestedsealantwillnotstainordiscolourthetestedporoussubstrateoveralongertimeperiod.Experienceinvariouscountrieswithsimilartestmethodshasshownthatthecompressionoftestspecimensfurtheracceleratestheoccurrenceofstaining.
