【摘要】:ThistestmethodisusedtodeterminethequantityofironandcopperpresentinvegetabletanningmaterialsorvegetabletanninextractspreparedusingPracticesD4901,D6404,orD6405.Becauseofthepossibilityoferrorsinthistestmethoditisessentialthatthemethodbefollowedexactlyinordertoobtainreproducibleresultsbothamongspecimenswithinalaboratoryandforanalysesbetweenlaboratories.1.1Thistestmethodisintendedforuseindeterminingironandcoppercontentinvegetabletanningmaterials.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoliquid,solid,pastyandpowderedextracts,torawandspentmaterials,andtotanneryliquors.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
