【摘要】:Thispracticecoverstheallowablerangeofmechanicalpropertiesateachofthreedifferentenergylevelsofverificationspecimensofheat-treatedsteel.Thispracticedoesnotspecifythecompositionorheattreatmentfortheseverificationspecimens,butAppendixX1givesexamplesofcompositionandheattreatmentsthathavebeenusedsuccessfullyinthepast.thispracticedescribestheprocedurethatshallbeusedtoestablishthevalueofimpactenergythatisfurnishedwiththespecimens.Thispracticelistsinformationwhichthesupplierofverificationspecimensshallmakeavailabletothepurchaser.Valuesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.SIunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
